Hall of Honor

History

The New Mexico National Guard Hall of Honor was founded in 2019 by the New Mexico Military Museum Foundation, Inc. This program seeks to honor those New Mexicans, living or deceased, who have served in the New Mexico National Guard with records of extraordinary service to our communities, state, and nation.

Each year the New Mexico National Guard Hall of Honor Selection Board picks New Mexico National Guard Soldiers and Airmen to be inducted into the New Mexico National Guard Military Hall of Honor from the many nominees submitted across the country.

The annual induction is held every year in November.

Nominations

Nominations can come from anyone and anywhere. The nominator should be familiar with the military service record of those they nominate. It is the nominator’s job to supply all required information needed for evaluation by the Selection Committee.

Nominations are due no later than June 1st of each year.
